About 5 or 6 years ago, I had the privilege to go back to Christian Youth Theater, which had been special to me as a teen, this time as an Assistant Director instead of a cast member. What I found was that the kids that are in CYT these days are every bit as amazing as the kids I went through with, and that they have amazing talents and gifts! I can honestly say that CYT is one of the places I feel most at home! One of the amazing kids I had the pleasure of working with was Ryan Hamlin.

Ryan has an AMAZING voice and is truly gifted in writing music. When he invited me to come to his 1st solo show this past Sunday, I knew I would be there, if I had to move heaven and earth to do it! I have never been so proud of one of my kids. I was so honored to shoot the show for him!
