Ok, so one of my very first weddings, the bride had the cutest pink shoes! I came to find out that they were actually her mom's wedding shoes! We all know the saying, "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue." Brides of old used to wear blue wedding dresses with the superstition that it would keep her groom "true blue" for they're years together. This tradition is now carried on in small ways on the modern wedding day. A grandmother's hanky, a blue ribbon in your hair, blue jewelry or even blue lingerie! But, why not make your something blue, be your shoes!

One of the biggest benefits of colored wedding shoes is that you may actually wear them again! Who really has an occasion to wear white satin shoes other than on their wedding day? But, a great blue high heel can make an everyday or work outfit POP! I have a fantastic pair of Teal peep-toe heels that I LOVE! I always feel more dressed up and sophisticated when I wear them. It's so funny what a great pair of fun shoes can do for a girl!
