Big News!!! Exciting Changes!!!!

Ok Y'all fasten your seat belts.... I've got BIG news!!! LBP is growing, expanding and crossing into a whole new territory!

You may remember meeting my dear friend, Chris, a few post back. Well, I am excited to officially announce that Chris is now my full-time partner at LBP! Chris has been an hobbyist photographer for a lot of years, but hasn't until now, taken the plunge into the professional business world. In the time that I have know her, she has helped inspire me and bring my work up to a whole new level. She keeps me laughing and is crazy enough to keep up with my craziness!!! She is an amazing Mom to three terrific boys and has the world's most supportive husband! I'm sure you are all going to love her as much as I do! If you want to welcome her or just say hi her e-mail is Chris@leahbowman.com.

Thanks to Chris, LBP is expanding! We are in the process of opening our first studio!!!!! I can't believe it! A studio is something I thought would never be in the cards for us, but here we go! Our studio is going to be like nothing you've ever seen before. No basic white paper or blue marble backdrops here... We are going to have five standard backgrounds... a wall of vintage barn wood...

a wall of corrugated tin... a wall built of vintage doors...

a hand painted background, painted by Chris and I... and an area of soft off white wood and LOTS of windows! Rustic with touches of bling everywhere! "Modern Photography with a Vintage Twist."

Right now the studio resembles an under construction basement, which it is, but it is really coming along quickly!

Chris' husband, Tim, deserves a gold star for his HOURS of work getting our walls up!

I will post more pictures as we have updates! When we are officially open, you'll have to come by and see us! You're gonna love it!

That is sooo exciting!! I can't wait to see it. Could I possibly shoot in the studio sometime? Never really done indoor stuff.

Hi Leah,
That is so exciting. Your pictures are great and I have to say seem to be getting better and better and they were awesome to begin with. Wish we lived near by to have you take our family pics! Enjoy having your own studio.
