A few shots from the beach...

We had a WONDERFUL time at the beach this past week. The boys loved playing on the beach and we took in as many local attractions as our time and budget would allow! I've got a busy weekend ahead, so I thought I would post just a few of my favorites from our trip. Being a photographer, of course I set out on the mission to get some good "portraits" of the boys, thus the reason for the matching shirts!

Grayson LOVED the ocean. He can't swim at all, but that didn't stop him from running headlong into the sea every chance he got! Michael had to keep a close eye on him and pick him up from being tumbled by heavy whitewash more than once! Sammy on the other hand kept just out of reach of the water unless his hand was being held. He's a smart one, that baby!

I was on a mission to get a few good shots of the boys walking on the beach together. I thought I had finally succeeded...

Then SPLASH!!!!! A HUGE wave came and took poor Sammy out as his big brother abandoned him to run back toward safety. Thankfully Michael was just a few steps away to pick up the spitting and sputtering Sammy after his wet and sandy face plant! The photo shoot was officially over after that!

One of the highlights for me was the view from our bedroom deck at sunset.... just breathtaking!
