CHERUBS | Angel Ball

I was blessed on July 26th, to be one of three photographers for the CHERUBS Angel Ball. This wonderful organization provided support to families dealing with the challenges or loss of having a baby born with CDH as well as raise awareness about this birth defect.

The Ball was held at the BEAUTIFUL Duke Gardens.

Two different event planning companies dropped CHERUBS before Signature Events came into the picture. Anna & Jennifer worked tirelessly on this event until every detail was in place. The greatest thing about them though, is that they were laughing and enjoying themselves the whole time. I think they truly love their work.

We were so excited to have Stone Age Romeos perform at the event. They are a very talented group who's play list varies from music to make you get up and shake what ya Mama gave you to songs that will drive you into the arms of the one you love.

A good number of the attendee were parents who had lost children to CDH. For a lot of them this was the first time they were really able to get out and have fun and enjoy themselves since the loss of their babies. It was nice to see so many enjoying themselves.

Thank you again, Dawn, Anna & Jennifer to creating such an amazing event and allowing me to be part of it. Amy & Melody it was so nice to meet you. It was wonderful to be able to talk to someone else who "speaks photography!" I can't wait to see your shots!!!!
